Kizzie was born in 1979 in a small beer brewing town called Burton upon Trent UK.
She lived in the small coal mining village Church Gresley with her parents and younger brother, attended infant and junior school there but things soon went wrong. Her parents divorced and she lived with her mother. Her brother went to live with her father where he lived a fulfilled life. She, however, didn’t.
She was taken into care at the age of 6 and lived with foster parents in a small village just outside of Burton Upon trent. Her mother had given birth to another brother about a year before and he came to live with her.
She did ok at school…. didn’t settle like she should have done. After about 18 months she was moved to another foster home and her brother was moved to Sheffield where he was adopted by his now parents.
She attended junior school in Aston on Trent and attended senior school and passed her Qualifications, again she did ok.
She went to college and achieved qualifications in: Sport and leisure, Travel and tourism, Performing arts
and English. She worked at a UK holiday camp for a season and had various jobs throughout her 20’s.
She now live in the west midlands with her husband Adrian of 10 years. He was the one who encouraged her to write the Desire series. She feels so fortunate to have him in my life.
