BLACK DIVIDER

Synopsis 3

I know I will never get over her. Watching her walk away with him ripped my heart out and left it bleeding on the floor. But I can’t hide anymore. I have to face my life without her.

Brad has been in love with Lisa for as long as he can remember. One night years ago they took each other’s virginity but while it was the best night of Brad’s life, for Lisa it was a way to forget about Bobby. Or was it?

Brad re-emerges right when Lisa needs him most. Only Brad knows everything about her and when Lisa’s insecurities come to the surface the shoulder Lisa needs is Brad’s. Now Brad has to decide if he has it in him to trust his heart.

Review5 Pennies

Walk into me begins right where Watch me walk away leaves off.  This is a love triangle of the worst kind.  I loved Brad from the first book and he seemed liked a truly nice guy, but had the syndrome of nice guys finish last.  It broke his heart to watch Lisa walk away with Bobby, but he knew he had to let her go because that is where her heart was with Bobby.  But knowing that and watching it happen is two very different things and both caused his heart to crumble.

The way that Lisa has viewed Brad as a best friend and like a brother since they were kids was the worst kind of torture for Brad, after her use of him in the first book I had no idea what to expect when reading this book from Brad’s POV.  But I was pretty sure that Lisa was going to continue to make me angry with her.  (and it did happen, she made me mad)  I just wanted to say, you can’t have your cake (Bobby) and eat it to (Brad).  It just seemed like even though she was up front with Brad that she was still stringing him on in a way because he had strong feelings for her and she knew it.

My heart continued to break for Brad.  I wish that Lisa would just walk away, but that is the problem that she wouldn’t.  On the other side of the coin, I did get aggravated with Brad as well because he needed a clean break to rid himself of his heartache.  But it wasn’t that easy with them, Lisa, Brad and Bobby, having the same friends, they were doomed to run into each other.

This book had me laughing and crying.  I enjoy reading books from different characters POV, because it helps to give you more insight into their own personal thoughts and feels.  I loved both of these books and can’t wait to see how it ends.
